Sony's PlayStation exclusives might have a MASSIVE problem, and PC gaming could be the reason why!

A new project called AnyPS5 is attempting to make PlayStation 5 games playable on PC without Sony's official support. While the technology is still in its early stages, the implications for PlayStation exclusivity and Sony's control over its gaming ecosystem could be huge.

In this video, we break down AnyPS5, how the project is progressing, what it could mean for PS5 exclusives, and why Sony might have a difficult time controlling where its games are played in the future.

Could PC gaming eventually break down PlayStation's exclusive barriers, or will Sony find a way to stop it?

Sonys Playstation is messing around and finding out!

You don’t rent a video game for $70. You rent it for 5.99 a week and then forget to take it back to blockbuster.

A wise man said, "Piracy is almost always a service problem and not a pricing problem."

PlayStation is the biggest problem with PlayStation at the moment

If buying isn't owning then piracy isn't stealing. Emulation is amazing.

My PS5 is on version 13.60, and I have jailbroken it and disconnected it from PSN. I will decide for myself what I want to do with my PS5. I don’t need Sony for that. The future is bright with all the homebrew development.

in Europe, at least the countries I am moving about, consoles = physical. If the discs are removed then what purpose does the consoles have?

Bloodborne 60fps. Only via modders at this rate. Sony's leaving money on the table

Yup Sony has to remember that not everywhere in the world has good internet. Therefore a physical disc of a game is the only option to play that game.

Closed software is dead, any corporation that relies on software sales that doesn't get the memo and respond accordingly is also dead. PC is the platform for the free man, but PS5s are PCs. They just need the software to be unlocked. I'm loving this gamer AI revolution. We've been treated like trash for far too long. If they want our money they have to cater to us now.

The argument about how many people use physical discs is irrelevant because digital players like myself still want the option to buy physical when we want to.
