I'm finally ready to fix the "Cheapest R8" I got from ‪@HooviesGarage‬. It's absolutely insane the cost of parts! Be sure to watch for the repairs on my R8 on ‪@daniel-san464‬ channel!

No such thing as a cheap super car.

You could say the car wizard isn't paying any labor. But he really is in a way. Danielsan doesn't work for free. Car wizard has to pay his salary. And all the time Daniel is working on his car, that's time he's not working on a paying customer's car. So in reality, car wizard kinda is paying labor and parts. Hopefully car wizard can get a break on parts prices. Beautiful car. Love the R8's.

If Danielson is in the shot. Don't dissmiss him in the shot. Just finish the shot. It makes for a better film.

I had a 1998 Audi A8. I loved it. Nice V8 highway cruiser. No mechanical problems but electrical problems. Sensors kept going out. Finally got tired of fixing it and just got rid of it.

These first gen V8 R8s are still my favorite. I think they’re by far the most beautiful and unique looking. My neighbor has one with a really nice exhaust and I always love hearing it roll by. It’s just a special car imo.

I love this channel. I bought a 944 Porsche in 1988 and sold it 1995 thinking I would buy a 911 when I retired. This channel has saved me a fortune as I now know that even if I could afford a used 911 I could not afford to keep it running. I say used because who could afford a new one, the prices have gone through the roof.

This type of cars turn to money pit once out of warranty

My grandfather had a beautiful XJ12 jaguar. He said that owning a luxury car doesn’t make you rich, being able to afford the seasonal maintenance, and constant service makes you rich.

I've known about Audis for a while, but knowing aftermarket improvements for fractional cost, as well as being a mechanic, you have got a good deal.
Since most aren't mechanics or have their own shop, they would be royally screwed.

13:34 this is why no matter what Wizard paid he would have these issues. Honestly getting a little deal from Hoovie was a good idea. He knows he’s going to have to fix so many things. Better to know going in that he’ll be doing the work and it will be done right.

Hoovie is definitely the winner in this deal

Talk about the Panther in the background. There's my kind of car. I had a 2000 Grand Marquis for about 2 1/2 years. Had to sell it because I had two cars and only one driver. The guy who bought it honks every time he sees me. Indestructible.

No one I know replaces the MAG-rides with another set of MAG-rides. Most go for BC Coilovers or other brands. Also, make sure to check for the notorious frame cracking issues especially on a first gen that’s been neglected.
