Is there any anime, tv show, video game etc that everyone said was the best thing ever that you didn't like?

The Nobara thing didn't really catch me off guard cause they established she can damage mahitos soul before her "death" so I was like "oh, she's gonna come back to help fight sukuna" but I didn't expect it to be in like the last 30 pages of the manga 💀

"Knock each other up"
"Expands inside of Sukuna"
"Sukuna swoops in and comes in his body"

Gege woke up and realized that yuji got a somewhat happy ending so he decided to make modulo just to make him suffer

Dude, your channel is so criminally underrated that it is insane. With this level of quality and effort you put into your videos, you deserve a ton of views and subscribers.

This scriptwriting is genius bro 😭😭😭
That Megumi joke took me out for 3 minutes. That introduction was PERFECT!!! Keeping new fans hooked while providing a really deep joke to people "in the know" is really hard to do but that was perfect 😭😭😭
Been lovin it so far I have like 30 comment ideas and its been 10 minutes

FYI, choso never hated humans he just chose to side with the curses because the outcome of them ruling the world was high and he wanted a better place for his brothers

JJK was the biggest thing ever, and then everybody stopped talking about it. I've never seen such a crazy downfall.

At least we still have the memes.

23:05 yeaaah, but then you understand that she has no character development, no relevance to the lore or the story and her backstory also largely irrelevant, the only interesting character interactions she had is Itadori and Gojo didn't even train her once on screen... besides ofc the very end when she becomes most important character, but then she feels more like a device than a character. Some people say it is the point of her character being just a normal girl, but theres nothing built around it in the story and theme structure of the manga (besides maybe theme of women sorceresses in the jjk world, but that one is also completely abandoned and fits her only partly) she's just completely ass backwards on all fronts. What a letdown for the amount of praise she has in the shonen community.

no way this man dropped a JJk video on me

Bro cooked respectfully. This was worth 7 months' wait. Absolute cinema.

We need your take on the One Piece fiasco with gear 5 or any shounen, maybe hxh. Glad I stayed along

I've actually learned more about calculus from lobotomy kaisen memes than my actual college classes lol

When you frame it in terms of megumi being a bum instead of x and y it makes more sense. That's why we need a spin off with Kenny and Takaba I need more lobotomy to make it through this degree.

The moment I realized that this manga will go nowhere was when it became clear that the buddhist imagery means absolutely nothing and goes nowhere

it's a small thing but these show if an author actually cares. you don't do imagery that means nothing if you care. I was not surprised when the manga started to suck

Watching JJK is like watching the 2003 Ninja Turtles. Cant handle it.

We already were predicting vids like this a year ago

Leaving a comment for interaction because i am SWAMPED with deadlines rn. Thank you for your service!

I've never watched JJK but I loooove your breakdown of things and it's always so accessible to people not familiar with the material !

This video is so underrated.
This video, the oshi no ko one, and the pikmin one are definitely my favorites so far and I absolutely loved watching them. I genuinely love and appreciate the amount of care you take into completely delving into a topic and learning as much about it as possible. I’m so excited to see what else you make, even if it takes longer to make than you would like. The wait is absolutely worth it for the quality and of course you have to live your life in the meantime as well

I remember being so excited when I first watched the anime, but there was one moment that really struck me the wrong way. It was right after Nobara and Megumi found out that Itadori was actually alive. It should have been a heartfelt scene. Imagine witnessing someone die a brutal death, and then finding out they were actually alive. Then without any pause they start making jokes. I loved the joke, it was super funny, but I couldn't laugh. It wasn't the right time to be funny at all. And I think it this a perfect example of what went wrong in this show. It wanted the drama and reactions, but was not willing to go through the proper emotional weight and timing.
I really appreciated this video. It helped me see a different perspective, but also be able to express how I feel about the series.

came from the oshi no ko video essay, love your video format and style. making me watch essays for anime i haven't even watched😭😭 (never watched ONK or JJK)
