You DO see me Kris!!! I saved this to watch again. Thank you so much! I have started to heal and have ruffled some feathers in my immediate family. But I feel such peace! I’m 77 years old and have dealt with this ALL MY LIFE.

This nugget probably takes people years to articulare in therapy. Love your vids, Kris. I'm in the hardest season of my life and your assurance has been a Godsend. Literally.

You didn't just "hit the nail on the head", you drove it through the wall!!! Thank you for that.

Oh my goodness! God is so good! I have been crying out for Him to heal my soul, but I, didn’t realize what the real damage was. It wasn’t low self-esteem, and rejection, and insecurity. It was self abandonment! Wow! Lights are on!

🕊️Lord Jesus I trust you even as I struggle. I’m a single mother with two children it’s overwhelming at times. I suffer from lupus and heart disease. Hear me Lord,🙏🏾both of my sons have special needs. Give me strength and bless me with the means to support my family. Amen.🙏🏾

This is the second time I’ve watched this. This hits hard. I am tired of performing and I suck at it anyways. I know who I am. I know what I am capable of. Fear of losing connection is tough when there was so little to begin with. I was raised and told emotions do not matter. I was trained to ignore my own gut and the red flags  that should have set alarms off when people and situations went bad. I internalized all of this and I told myself that I needed to be better to gain acceptance. I was well on my way to being a narcissist when God first started to cut me down many years ago. Praise God for roadblocks. Sometimes what we want is the very thing that can destroy us.

I went from a facade to exposed. I exposed my heart and it caused a lot of pain. What I thought was radical vulnerability was a calling card for abusive people. People see the weak and they go after them. I couldn’t believe it. I kept encountering this and then I retreated. I retreated from my friends. I retreated from my family. I retreated so I wouldn’t have the opportunity to disappoint people.

Performance is a horrible short cut to connection.

71 years old that is me😢. Trauma/Abandonment at 7 years old, married a Narcissist divorced him in 2006 after 30 years of marriage.

My love for my x fiance was unconditional. I called her out on some behaviors and wanted her to face herself and deal with them, but I didn't pull my love from her. HER LOVE was ALWAYS CONDITIONAL.....and...yes...I was constantly trying to stay ahead of her abandoning me because I knew how much I loved her and had committed to her and KNEW I COULD NOT AFFORD TO LOSE HER!!! I wasn't insecure....I was on high alert constantly for her pulling her love and tearing me up inside. She was VERY CRUEL. Everything I thought about her was projections of my goodness on to her..which was not in her. I was in love with a fantasy...a total mirage. She never deserved to be anywhere near my life.

James 1:19 be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger 🙏🕊️

Wow. this is hitting me like a ton of bricks. Not just with my recent disastrous failed relationship, but in a lifetime of confusion and disappointment in different aspects of life. I feel I have squandered decades. I hope I can still recover and salvage something of the time I have left.

4:10.... you have been watching me through the years 🙏

Very true this topic is spot on,
to tolerate tension without abandoning myself. Staying connected to God & myself when an unexpected disruption appears is a calming way for stabilty in an uncertain situation. Thankyou for your No Regret Response Guide, this is in view for me to reflect on daily. Amen🙏

That "temperature" can change without warning through adulthood too.... I'm finally making the hard choices to not take the bait, not over- whatever, and have some distance/non-availability... wasn't easy getting here, or fun the first couple weeks putting it into practice.... but things came to a head end of June start of July in my family, and necessity showed up.

I have peace and quiet around me and am resisting the devil's lies that I'm being selfish, prideful, arrogant, dishonoring etc.... especially not easy when he uses family/mom to deliver his lies.

But I'm resisting and pressing closer to God, and He is helping me 🙏🙏🙏

And I pray for my family 😢❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Oh my goodness. Everything you said is me. I'm always trying to help people and fix their problem.

This is so good, completely explains what I’ve been struggling with while believing it was my own insecurities causing it. After being labeled as insecure after putting up boundaries in my last relationship, I began to believe I was wrong for wanting to feel safe in my relationship. I knew I wasn’t insecure, but I took on those labels unconsciously because it was easier to change my boundaries than it was to accept disappointment from someone close to me. Thank you for sharing this video, it helped me see that I don’t deserve self-abandonment. I deserve emotional safety

🕊️JESUS take away the burdens I face as a single parent, both of my sons have special needs and I’m constantly struggling trying to provide the daily necessities for them. I want to give up, yet Father you are my only true source of strength. Lord hear my prayers.

Where this gets really confusing is when you think you are following God’s will by managing the emotions of others. Call it leadership, submission, showing honor, so many things. 😊

Kris im 60 years old im in tears listening to you. Thank you Beautiful Lady God Bless You ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
