Toby Fox continues to raise the bar, or is he not?

As a studio musician, I love exploring music that resonates with emotions, specially since I'm composing my own stuff recently. Join me as we dive into another incredible chapter of one of gaming's most beloved soundtracks.

Apparently, after the "Garden of Hopes and Dreams" track, I got confused and kept calling the "Don't Forget" motif "Hopes and Dreams"
Only God can judge me 🤣

Toby definetly saw how people reacted to the time signatures on 3rd sanctuary, so he made 4rd sanctuary in response

"Petal dance, it sounds like a pokemon move"

So, craziest thing...

Just so you know, Flower Man has in-game karaoke lyrics.

The Deltarune Piano Collections are so jaw-droppingly beautiful that I’d recommend you check them out in their entirety.

The track used for the credits is actually part of the Field of Hopes and Dreams arrangement, but the Scarlet Forest arrangement is used separately in a hidden area and not on the official ost, and the full version might be my favorite piece of music from Deltarune, which is the highest praise I can give.

Let's get down to business and value, value the fun!

"catfession" and "bratfession" are just covers of the song "confession" from undertale, but with the silliy instruments from mario paint. they play in a similar, but much stupider scene

@ОлегВысоков-л8й 2 months ago

Damn, bro was so mad about the act of going shopping that he missed that undertale leitmotif in Shop 3.

@crowsenpai5625 2 months ago

Everyone “Toby! 3rd sanctuary is all over the place! The time signature is non-existent!”
Toby “I can do worse!” [4RD SANCTUARY]

51:36 "Are we gonna get out of the Japan arc?"

(Currently playing the version of this song that was made to sound like Wild West music)

1:09:32 According to the post-release newsletter, Toby mentioned that he tried making the song himself multiple times over (and several times with guest musicians for a vocal cover) but was having trouble with getting everything to come together with his sample library. Once he felt like he was out of options, he begged Camellia to arrange it. He also uploaded an early piano outline of the song, from which you can definitely hear a lot of the melodies that made it into the final song, so I think it's safe to guess his involvement was mostly for the arrangement.

When Deltarune ends, presumably in the early 2030s, it’s probably gonna end up being my pick for game of the decade. And I can’t even think of how powerful and nostalgic the don’t forget motif is going to feel
