On this trip I joined my buddy Brian of Salty Dog Fishing Charters based out of Oceanside, NY to learn a hot new technique called Snap Jigging.
Brian explained that even when fish do not want to bite, They just can't resist a snap jig. So after all these Nor-East storms we decided to see if there would be any fish around and hopefully make some fresh reports.
Well Brian's 2nd cast he was tight on a beautiful striped bass. The hits never stopped and in the end we landed 15-117 striped bass plus many lost.. If you have not tried this style of fishing a strongly suggest you give Brian a call and book a trip. You will be hooked 4 sure.
