BIG RESULTS Fishing FL Docks With Live Shrimp! (UNCUT)

Join me for an uncut Florida saltwater kayak fishing adventure in Osprey, where I’m fishing live shrimp under docks along the Intracoastal Waterway. I’m freelining live shrimp with no weight and targeting whatever is feeding around the dock structure.
The action produces an awesome mix of Florida inshore fish, including snook, redfish, mangrove snapper and black drum. I end up with six keeper fish—two black drum, three mangrove snapper and one redfish.
For this trip, I’m using a 4000-size spinning reel spooled with 20 lb braided line connected to a 25 lb fluorocarbon leader and a #1 J-hook. The live shrimp are freelined with no weight, allowing them to swim naturally underneath the docks where the fish are holding.
After fishing, I head to City Island in Sarasota to clean the catch by the water. Then I fire up the charcoal grill in the picnic area near Mote Marine Laboratory and cook fresh black drum for the catch-and-cook portion of the adventure.
