Oh my word, this left me wishing Sierra could've actually responded without interruption. I wanted to hear her answers to some great questions.

I found Mayer to be a little draining.  
He seemed more interested in what he saw of himself in Sierra, than in Sierra.

Lost a lot of previously held respect for John Mayer while watching this. I couldn't endure more than 3 min of John's self-important indulgence, hurt my heart to think of Sierra having to sit there while John had a hour long conversation with himself

I understand it was frustrating hearing Jon talk so much, but it's very sweet how much he admires and recognizes her talents. The way she honors American roots music while switching and blending genres and then transcends them to create experiences is pretty magical. She's getting better at it all the time too.

I was looking forward to listening to Sierra - she was hardly allowed to say anything! Don‘t invite guests if you only use them to talk about yourself!

My wife and I were on the Bainsbridge Ferry, she jumps on with a man with a fiddle. The first note she belted the whole ferry stood silent. We bought a CD and have been a fan since.

Good honest heartfelt conversation.
I was a driver for the lovely Sierra in Calgary during the YYC FF 2025. So hard working, such a talented and lovely person. Been an ardent fan since she first showed up on YouTube. I was immediately taken in by her talents and presence and I am no musician.
John, the best moments of my life were with my teenage sons and their friends hanging out in the kitchen asking me ridiculous questions and eating my home baked cookies. Still hold these moments close to my heart. No videos of this - just heartfelt memories that thankfully, never fade. I'm 65. Do have kids. Nothing in the world fills your heart up like they can.

John just has a major crush, for good reason. He is talking too much because he is nervous AF!

Sierra is a goddess. Mayer should try to listen more than speak and stop explaining his guest’s comments back to them.
