I finally realized music is the only thing that will make us family..we all suffer

One of the best reactions I've seen to Ren..

@krogan3760 1 year ago

The spoken word ending to this legitimately was a catalyst that changed my life.

"You gotta keep the devil out your business" - H8tful Jay
I want that on a shirt!

Jay if you go to this song. Go to the comments. Ren left a backstory that explains so very much. And also, this was totally done in one take. Blows me away everytime I listen to it.....

Mate, this is the best reaction to this piece of art that I’ve ever seen.

I love that in everything he does you can feel the switch between characters in his mannerisms, music and voice. How he switches from Ren to dark Ren then to angelic Ren so damn smoothly but you can tell who’s who.
I think he calls the music BardCore and it hella fits

"Man, your inner self's an asshole man". That's my favorite line!

@zestrada7 1 year ago

No one will ever be meaner to anyone but yourself than your inner monologue. 😢

Honestly Jay you crack me up so much. "Did he Yodel. I wasn't expecting that" is the best reaction to the start of his Ren

Finding your channel is a gift as good as finding ren. Appreciate you homie

15:02 you called I bro. “He is the bard that all the kings would want to hire” and this was your first song 🔥🔥🔥

@TheOCGMagicSanta 3 years ago (edited)

At 9:39 I about fell out of my chair laughing when you said his inner self was an asshole 😂😂😂😂😂

Bard is a very Welsh profession. Ren grew up around Ren Fairs/Festivals. His step-dad played stringed instruments in these festivals. Music is his being. His style is called Bard-Core. In the Tales, you can see him putting on the minstrel's mask with each one, Violet's being the most distinctive with the shoulder reset. He is a Bard in the grandest definition of the word.

@nondetection8882 3 years ago

Spot on. He called this genre bardcore himself :). He does many genres actually, has many rap songs (checkout Hunger, Genesis, Sick Boi from his current album and many others in the past), has rock stuff with his band The Big Push, he also has lots of eclectic stuff mixing hiphop, rock, blues, reggae among others.

I am going back to watch everyone's first Ren experience.
This was an AWESOME reaction.
Thank you.

"Is he yodelling? That's not what I thought would happen". Yo guy, that's how most of us felt when we first listened saw this, then became instant Ren fans! This Canadian loved your reaction.
