terri being written off the show will forever be degrading to me. we didn’t even get a goodbye or get to see her graduate and she was my favourite character too.

Chantay Black- the forever in the background gal and has to have broken a record for how long someone can attend high school.

It's even more heartbreaking that Dave got the black hole treatment with the passing of his actor, Jahmil French last year. Dave was as much a part of the show as the rest of his class and he just vanished with no mention of where he or his dad went

ellie’s cutting is a massive one for me! you see the odd snippet of her twanging her elastic band but once she gets to college it’s pretty much forgotten. and then in degrassi goes hollywood you can’t even see any scars, i think it would have been so much more powerful if she started cutting again instead of trying to drown herself

1) Darcy's disappears forever
2) Parents get Divorced
3) Boy troubles (Kaycee)
4) Boy troubles (Eli)
5) Boy troubles (And stepbrother lovin') (Jake)
6) Cancer
7) Alcoholism
8) Pregnancy scare
9) Pregnancy scare, again
10) Boy troubles (Drew)
11) Boy troubles (Not dating) (Dallas)
12 )Boy troubles (Not dating) (Fitz)
13) Boy troubles (Not dating) (Declan)
14) Mom gets remarried (Probably should have listed this earlier on)

Long story short, the writing team really milked her character and threw everything onto her. They pretty much ignored the rest of the cast for Clare. No other character (Not Emma, Paige or even Spinner) has as many storylines. Spinner had a lot too, but not on the levels of a shitstorm that Clare has)

I always wonder what happened to Terri. I don’t care what had happened to Rick but it doesn’t excuse him for what he did to Terri.

Man, this show had so much chaos. Plot holes or not, this show had me in a chokehold! I miss the scandals.

I definitely wish they resolved these things.

The Jane storyline pisses me off how they didn’t suffer any consequences . And from next class they never discuss the Lola and miles situation and the whole abortion . They just blew it off

Hazel graduated and Terri went to a private school after she got out of her coma. Dave also got explained.

Claire did suffer side affects from the cancer. We see she suffers cemo-brain, which made college plans hard. She even doesn’t go to college right after high school so she can focus on her health

It has always bugged me that Emma has the episodes where she is suffering from anorexia/bulimia and that is only mentioned one other time in a later episode by Sean. You don't just get over a disorder like that. I wish they had revisited it in the show.

We still never got to see Heather Sinclair except that we know Holly Sinclair is her sister.

I honestly had no idea they kept the show going for so long. Once the original Next Generation cast left, I did too.

Emma and her dad! They show him once and never speak of him again! It was crazy...Terri was amazing and it always bothered me she didn't get better!! Her storyline was a big deal and then she was just gone.

I remember when the Emma BJ for a bracelet arc came around it was such a subversion of my expectation- but shouldn't have been. Everyone knows with Degrassi- they go there.

Alex is the most underrated character! The character development was so good and I was rooting for her to live happily ever after with Paige. I wish we saw more of her!
