Roman mining engineering is truly remarkable. Scholars today are astonished by the technological feats Rome employed to extract various resources and minerals, but it was especially in Hispania where they demonstrated their full potential. In this documentary, we reconstruct, using the surviving remains, the mining processes, mechanisms, and infrastructure of such iconic sites as Las Médulas and Rio Tinto.

From Structuralia and IMAGEEN, where I served as co-founder, president, and CEO, I launched this series in 2007, together with my friends José Antonio Muñiz (Digivisión) and Isaac Moreno (documentarian and presenter of the series).
