the sheep hypnosis story gets me every time.... but it was just an average day for phil lester

he wasn't my real uncle...
YOU HAD AN IMAGINARY UNCLE?

is one of my absolute fav recent quotes idk why it just makes me choke every time

the sheep hypnosis story is so autistic-coded to me.  like that's what being autistic is like, so many times I've completely misinterpreted something romantic and looked back later like OH MY GOD I'M SO STUPID.

i hope the hypnosis guy is living his best life now and tells that story

I cannot stop thinking about the Goat Skin Trio

Phil is just the embodiment of a 4 year old that has figured out that they can tell everyone their family secrets as little stories to strangers

ok but im american and i have definitely heard british people say swot i think dans just a fan of bullying phil for every word he speaks

As a fellow Northerner™️ we also did cock, goose or feather at my primary school but had slightly different actions for each option and no concrete cake lmao

such a pristine selection of stories ! I love Phil and his weird lore

They should get Phil on Would I Lie to You, he would outdo Bob Mortimer in northern anecdotes.

We genuinely need a timeline of these events and have them described in full detail, these northern stories aren't just something to drop once and never talk about again 😭

The way I always lose it at the sheep story 😂 Oh my phil you're such a cutie

The sheep hypnosis story from Dwayne's perspective has to be a burgeoning fetish memory

phil would be a great contestant on would I lie to you

the majority of these being phil's 😭

2:40 apparently a "concrete cake" is a type of...shortbread cake? or something? so phil calling it a stone cake is either him forgetting the name of the cake or him being cheeky and wanting to mislead dan. phil also explained it in the most bizarre way possible, but weird games where you would tease or bother the birthday kid in some way (pinching, swatting, or in this case, pulling hair) used to just be a thing people did. i guess they just fell out of fashion much later in phil's hometown.

2:35 OH MY FUCKING GOD THE GIRL YOU CAN SEE RECORDING THEM IS ME!?

11:54 southern Grandma's have parrots; northern Grandma's have geese

something about dan getting yelling on phils behalf about the maze runner part is special to me

I just looked it up online and found a post from 2009 on some message board... cock goose or feather is a real fucking thing....
