Description

The CZ 457 AT-ONE Varmint is my first real step into what I’d consider precision-style rimfire shooting, without going completely down the precision rimfire rabbit hole.

In this video, I’m giving you my first look and first impressions of the CZ 457 AT-ONE after my first trip to the range. I’ll talk about why I chose the AT-ONE, the adjustable Boyd’s stock, the trigger, the 11mm dovetail and Area 419 rail, the Arken EP5 5-25x56 I’ve got mounted on it, and a few things I already like—and a few I don’t.

Then we’ll take a look at my first four 5-shot groups at 50 yards with Remington Thunderbolt, including one group that seriously surprised the hell out of me.

This isn’t a final accuracy test or a long-term review. I’ve got a lot more shooting and ammo testing planned for this rifle, and I’ve also got another new .22 that’s already producing some pretty interesting results alongside the CZ.

That comparison is coming soon.
