The best part is he got to live to see his daughter grow up to be an adult, and he got to be the father to her that he never had for himself growing up

The direct inspiration of the A-10 Warthog! Idk if it is really, but it feels like it!

"Iron men flying paper planes"...wow

A cropduster is usually a small airplane that a farmer has to spray herbicide/pesticide on a field, but if you want to use "cropdust" as slang it can mean farting all over a room, and in war you can guess what that means.

He was a Triple Threat! Calling in accurate artillery! Firing bazooka! Landing to capture people with a gun! Balls of steel!

My uncle was an F-16 fighter pilot, didn't make it unfortunately but trust me, every fighter pilot to this day knows the legend of Bazooka Charlie

You're immediate questioning of the logistics of the reload time is very interesting. I like your brain edit. And again flight time.

My dad had bile duct cancer and he was given 6 months. He lived 3 years. He was given a year and got 20. He’s a hero.

The most important thing to know about us Americans is that whenever someone tells us we can’t do something, our response is, “Challenge accepted.”

I was born in Moline, IL. That is also the head quarters of John Deere tractors

Sounds like a typical Irish summer. A few days of sunshine followed by two weeks of rain .🌧️

The Piper Cub (more accurately, Supercub) was not a crop duster.

While I love the inventiveness...a part of me has to wonder how many L-4 pilots he got killed by making them a focal point when they'd previously been ignored. Big benefits in a small area, but big ramifications in the big area. Prior to Mr. Carpenter, L-4s were ignored, and then his decision to arm made them a focal pinpoint threat worrying they were about to strike when they had no guns, no capacity, just looking and reporting. I totally get his drive to arm, but also...gotta think big picture; what happens to guys flying this who aren't armed?

I'm not sure about the podcast but she did comment on his video and they did talk.
