Ironically many of the Arabs after the World war I and colonialism were eager to form a United Republic just all countries joined together but when the British didn't fulfill that promise, they were angry and then when they later got the opportunity after colonialism they couldn't go through with it because of different national economic and tribal interests. It was always doomed from the start and a pipe dream.

To anyone thinking that only WMD = nuclear weapons, NO. WRONG. They are only one type of WMD, chemicals and gas are also weapons of mass destruction, and they were something Saddam had LOTS of.
