I see that someone recommended a narrowboat holiday. We have fallen in love with boating on the Norfolk Broads. Not narrowboats, but river boats. Itās a wonderful part of the UK.
Welcome to my great land friends ! Upstanding hard working decent honourable people as yourselves are more than welcome to build a happy contented life for generations to come ! What this country needs is more people coming here like you guys šš
If you go to the furthest north of the UK , the Shetlands , it doesn't get dark in the summer. It's about as far north as Anchorage and level with Bergen in Norway. A truly unique place to visit with it's mix of Scottish and Viking history, spectacular scenery. In January they have the Up Helly Aa fire festival which culminates in the burning of a Viking long boat.
Have you found a local brass band for your son to join? My two boys were learning trumpet and trombone in school but werenāt getting on that well. My work boss recommended a local band and it worked out so well. When I took the boys to a trial session I came away with a trombone for myself to learn. The band we are part of provides instruments and tuition and has various training bands that you move up as you progress. My eldest son now plays with the A band (the top band). Iām still playing trombone in the B band.
Been following you lovely people since u first started .. so glad you picked are mad little nation to call home :) hope the all of the family stays well.
