together, Abida Parveen and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan create a synergy that elevates "Chaap Tilak" to new heights. Originally written by "Amir Khusro" , in this version of Coke studio Pakistan, their harmonious exchanges and the seamless blending of their voices result in an otherworldly experience that take us to a realm where devotion and musical artistry converge. ✨

Here's my reaction to "Chaap Tilak" 💟 Coke studio version..

Chaap is dedicated to Sufi Saint Nizamuddin Auliya by his devotee Aamir Khusro written in 13th century. Some 700 yrs ego.

6:33 The Persian and Urdu (incorporating all vernaculars like Hindawi, Braj, Khari Boli and others) poetry is often layered and filled with metaphors. Here, apparently it is for Nizamuddin Awlia who was a teacher of Amir Khusro for whom he had profound respect. But at the same time the lovers can be taken as a metaphor for longing the soul feels because of constant weight on it. Hence, he sees his teacher as someone who guides him towards God. So, it carries multiple perspectives and colors. It can bw taken as romantic with the two people then used as metaphors to explain the longing of the soul.

This kalam was written by Ameer Khusro for his Sufi saint Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya.

Greetings from Pakistan. I must admit your reactions are so deep and knowledgeable that they touch the soul. I can only suggest yourself to increase the frequency of Coke studio reactions. Consider Rung from Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Amjad Sabri from Coke studio season 9, if you have not already done it. Yourself can also consider Dost by Abida Parveen from Coke Studio Season 7, which is quite a straight forward song but with beautiful lyrics. Will give more suggestions in due course of time. Wishing the best of luck to your channel. Please keep the good work going. With warm regards

As this was not the final take ... this was the practice session, but both the legends has done it so perfectly that the producers Strings decided to keep this as final take and published it ...

Good to see you. You are right. This song's most prominent musical endeavor was the constant rhythm that Bilaal and Faisal developed. The rhythm is the most attractive attraction of this song. It sublimely compliments the song. Contrarily, B&F both had experimented musically with "Laal Meri" by QB.

Tori Chab from season 6, along with BTS, it's very underrated but yet a musical jewel of CS and Rohail Hyatt.

You must do a reaction video on "Mundari" by Ustaad Naseer-ud-din Saami from Coke Studio Season 4. That song deserved to be highlighted by people like you who know about classical singing
