Ahh, the elusive 5 string Ibanbacker

Thanks for letting the bass player talk in depth. We do not always get the same love and air time, so I appreciate it.

Videos like this of wrapping up projects and having your thoughts on them is something I would definitely enjoy. I miss the ILTMS 2 content.

The correct number of guitars to own is 1 more. Keep building. It's a wonderfully addictive hobby.

Love that you guys are making use of the second channel again. I certainly wouldn't mind more in-depth discussions about projects on here :)

Big fan of the wrap-up more detailed discussions. It one of the many reasons I listen to and Patreon Making It.

It was nice of R2 to take some time out of his day and join in on the discussion, just wishing he had some more air time 🎄

Yeah, this "after-show" breakdown is a solid thing. I vote to keep this up. (maybe after a few days of comments on the main video so you can see what kind of questions viewers had?)

This is easily one of my favorite pieces of content you guys have put out. I would love for this to be a more regular thing.

“We’re going to get technical in this one..” bassist takes 4/5 the video, typical bassist 😁🤣 *also calling myself out as a bassist.

Bob and Josh, I loved this video. The behind the scenes nature of just talking about the project made it feel like I stopped in the shop and we talked about what you are working on. It was great.

Yes continue the wrap ups/project end result reviews. It's a nice change of pace after watching some magic work in the shop for 20 minutes

Definitely keep doing these types of videos. It’s nice to hear some more of the thought process behind a project.

For the grain filler, not sure if it works for cherry, but an old trick I learned from my grandfather when working with walnut, if you "wet sand" the wood with a finishing oil, the oil and sanding dust packs into the pores of the grain and then hardens to make a smooth surface. Takes a bit of time, but you are always guaranteed to get a good color match and smooth finish.

I freakin' love the fact that the neck on Josh's bass looks different than "every other guitar neck". The walnut-cherry mix is really lovely.
