A quick tip for boxed scalloped potatoes: add potatoes, boiling water and butter to casserole dish. Pop in microwave for 5-10 mins, remove and stir in cheese sauce mix. Pop into oven and you’ll save about half the cooking time.

My mother could always make a delicious meal out of very limited ingredients.  She was so creative and talented in her cooking.  You are like her.  So, please feel special because she was very, very special.   I loved this video.

Well done! 👏 This video will truly help those who are in a crunch. They need to start teaching kids in school, Family Planning again.   🎉

Noel, your ideas for eating great food on a budget are the best I’ve seen on YouTube. My husband and I can’t eat much of the processed foods due to different health issues but I will continue to watch your videos to support your work. It is invaluable in our economy today for so many. Take care!

The dinner looks good.  On a budget.  I really appreciate you using only what you planned on using.  That’s my biggest problem I like using very expensive ingredients.  I  am always over my budget.  This video was very helpful to me.  Thanks so much.  👍👍 Your husband is very cooperative.  He’s the perfect tester.

Noel you do a fantastic job on your budget meals. I know people with tight budgets really appreciate all the examples you are showing us! Have a Happy Easter!

Blue Jay Acres. You are the Budget queen.  Thanks for sharing all your cooking techniques and recipes.  It’s a blessing to learn how to cook on a budget.❤❤

I love your budget meals! So needed by many in these rough times.

I agree one of the best detailed meals i have seen..

Instead of putting the butter or margarine pats on top of cake mix, soften butter in bowl, add cake mix and work it in to a crumble, then put on top of fruit in baking dish. It's easier, and the margarine or butter is evenly incorporated. Also, get some kitchen scissors to open that brown sugar bag.

Thank you Noel for showing people how to get by on a struggling budget

Both your table settings looked very lovely... And the food looks scrumptious too..... And your husband's pretty cute too...God Bless yall.

Your husband loves you. I can tell his interaction with you.  You’re saving him money sticking to your budget.   Men love thrifty women.  Thanks a lot Budget Queen 👸 ❤💕❤️💕🙏🤲🏽.  Continue the great job. Showing people that it actually can be done ✅.👍👍👍.  I am glad I found your channel.  I have seen others cook on a budget however their meals 🥘 didn’t come together like yours did.

Thank you for acknowledging that you can still make traditional holiday meals on a budget. I remember well having to stick to a strict budget but managing to pull it off. You can always make do.

With my deviled eggs i usually keep one to finely chop the whites to add to the yolks.

Use garlic powder instead of garlic salt if you have high blood pressure

When few people buy some ham that way.

Excellent! Back to "broke so back to basics and affordable. Thank you Bless your heart❤

Good job!  I love the decorations!  The just for fun “stuff” really elevates the meal.  It makes the dinner extra special because it’s not done all the time! I liked the cute peeps the best!

Wow, wow, wow!  I'm lucky in that I don't have to watch my budget as carefully as some people do, but do watch it. You made two impressive Holiday dinners for four that look tasty, filling and festive, really inexpensively! I just subscribed and look forward to more videos. Happy Easter and thank you!
