Two years after Young Dolph was murdered outside a Memphis cookie shop, the man that trial testimony named as the one who paid for it was dead too -- shot outside a restaurant, after a funeral, in broad daylight. Anthony "Big Jook" Mims was Yo Gotti's older brother and, by the prosecution's own words, the number two guy at CMG. He was never charged. He was never tried. He was killed before any of the testimony against him could be tested in court. Two years later, his own murder has produced zero arrests. This is the file that's still open.

For the record: everything in this film describing Big Jook's alleged role in Young Dolph's murder is trial testimony, not a finding of fact against him -- he died before any of it could be tested in court. Yo Gotti has never been charged with anything in connection to either case. The idea that Big Jook's own murder was retaliation is public speculation; Memphis police have never confirmed a motive. If you know anything about the white Ford Explorer seen leaving the scene on 13 January 2024, Memphis Crime Stoppers is still taking tips at 528-CASH.
