This angered the hell out of me. The coward running up on a kid and lunging what looks like a 2 foot long dagger into the kids back while he is down on the ground then lunging him with it 6 more times when he is defenseless got me boiling. The definition of a coward.

Jermaine seemed like such a wonderful young man, the kind the world needs more of and he was sadly taken away by a low-life, worthless, scum, POS. This breaks my heart. Sending my love and prayers to this beautiful family!

Kids killing kids....so sad. This is the violent world we live in today. RIP Jermaine and peace to his family.

He was a cutie pie. His parents seem like such good people. I’m so sorry this happened to them. He had his life a head of him

This is my worst nightmare having two boys…always telling them to be aware of your surroundings at all times…this is just so heartbreaking 💔 sending love to his beautiful family!

No parent dreams of their child passing before they do.  My son drowned just before his 2nd birthday.  We are a family that have loved and carry a great loss, a membership that no one would ever want to be a member of.

I can feel this family's pain...but the dad....just the humbled energy in his words...the gentle tone and the way he looks off, like he's looking past us and the camera :( I cannot even fathom how they must feel. Julius Cool even saved a girl from being stabbed in his restaurant...what a gem. Sending the family as much love and energy as I can muster :( RIP Young Prince

This made me cry because that little boy lost his life for no reason this was so heartbreaking 😢 his family has a beautiful soul

They literally took a chapter from the brutal senseless murder of junior(lesandro guzman) back in 2018❤it’s literally the same event. This is beyond sad.

It was meant for the last footage of that CCTV to show Jermaine walking for his mom and family to know that he is a fighter and he handled it like a soldier… If you get it, you get it. He did that for his mother. He showed her that it’s okay and that isn’t the last of him because he still has might in him. I’m crying. I’m so sorry Jermaine.

Innocent handsome little guy died in such a barbaric manner. For what??? Unbelievable

Someone who even carries a machete around town has absolutely evil intentions!!!

Deepest  sympathies to Jermaine's family. He sounded like a really special young man. Rest in peace

The adrenaline was the only thing moving that young man. I hope that person who brandished that sword, and stabbed this helpless 14 year old. Never gets out of prison. His mind is obviously damaged. To go in killing mode that easily. His attack was savage. . My deepest condolences for the family, and friends! He was a beautiful young man!

Such a senseless murder...
Rest in paradise young man.

This family’s pain is still so raw and I’m so very saddened for them. What a devastating case. I have a 13 year old son and it is absolutely sobering to realize that you can raise them up the way they should go and in the blink of an eye, another who’s not had the same rearing can just take it all away. It would have been really nice if the judge could have added additional time on to his sentence for taunting Jermaine’s family the way he did. But like others have said, if this young man doesn’t wake up to realize his actions have consequences then he won’t ever make it out of prison alive.
This is a very sad waste of two young lives, but especially of one. 😥💔 RIP Jermaine🕊️

My son is 15. Hes sweet, hardworking, kind, and never gives up. I cant even begin to imagine his parents pain. This young man was an angel. Its so sad that you have children killing children. RIP, sweet Jermaine.

Jealousy is as cruel as the grave!😢

What a beautiful family and such a sad story. So sorry for the loss of your son.

A knife? That was a fucking sword. Wtf
