My favorite part about this movie was how they depicted people from the 80's as not giving a single s*** about anything when they're on the clock.

“And they all lived happily ever after…except for the three murdered girls.”

That’s messed up. Imagine your daughter getting killed and for a holiday everyone in town wears the costume of your daughter’s killer

Im pretty sure that the reason Pam didn’t immediately run was because of vengeance and the adrenaline rush. Like I think once she got the upper hand, she decided to try and fully defeat him rather then just run away and hide.

What is mine blowing is that once she returns to the present, her parents are not totally confused on why there daughter looks exactly like the “foreign exchange student” from Canada  who helped solve and killer in their past. Wondering if there was any thoughts in there heads why this is so? I guess we may never no unless maybe a sequel

“Was that the stabbing of ‘87?!”

The suspension of disbelief is tossed in this one so casually: There's an abandoned fair ground that kids can just walk into with no security, and the friend is casually constructing a time machine 😂

The only problem I had with this movie, how’d he get to the back door so fast? Like I honestly thought it was a 2nd killer on first watch, then I watched it another time and it really didn’t make any sense…

If the mum was really so traumatized, then why would she bought a house with frontdoor with glass windows at reachable level? Why would she even opened the door on Halloween?

So her parents ended up getting together earlier and having an additional kid, but she just happens to have been born despite all this with the main difference that her parents chose another name for her? Their reaction to her coming back should be: "Who the hell are you? Leave us alone or we'll call the police!".

Meh, Pam did the right thing by alerting the cops by hitting that button before going for the gun. It created a deadline for the killer and if her gun had failed the cops at least would have come for her.

If she had gone for the gun and would not have landed a shot or was unable to employ it she would be fighting there without anyone coming for her.

Also she did not let her guard down but remained focussed in the direction the killer had left at.
She also stabbed at his heart but hit his shoulder and lost full mount in the struggle.

She did everything right but the killer was just to skilled and able to smash through doors and windows.

Its been awhile since I heard HTB compliment a character for putting up a hell of a fight...I was rooting for Pam!😅

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie… The Gen Z kid stuck in the socially Wild West 80’s… love the twist about Pam being the main mean girl… and half second of lust for her hot young dad… very fun movie.

That's how I imagine Claire Dunphy would react during a home invasion as well

wow, pam was prepared... im so mad she couldn't shoot the introducer

Pam did really well in the beginning ngl. Only major mistake was thinking the killer was gone.

I watched this movie with my mom and she said the references and costumes were pretty historically accurat

i feel like pam had more opportunities to survive ngl.
1: When she flipped him she could’ve used that as an opportunity to escape
2: If she stabbed him twice she would’ve had a better opportunity to survive

I dont want to ruin it for anybody who hasn't seen the movie and wants to be surprised watching this through, but, the "Killer" reveal had me rolling😂😂😂. Especially seeing the fight between them and Pam

As soon as the character was introduced, I knew they were the killer 😂. Can't hide crazy
