Loving the new home decor guys, its giving "padded room, hold the padding". Perfect for this reaction

Fun fact: at the very end of the book, like the last sentences, Nick actually admits that she is right and he is Indeed a better version of himself with her. That's one of the reasons he resents her also.

Rosamund should've won the Oscar that year. Love this movie.

In the book it’s actually hinted that in the end Nick actually liked that side of Amy and he in fact couldn’t be with anyone else. So yeah, he stayed in the marriage. And his sister couldn’t understand it at all. This is a really good book adaptation. One of the best.

Guys, the movie actually explains that Nick had left a sperm sample at a fertility clinic. When they sent a notice saying they were going to destroy it, Nick left the notice for Amy so she could decide what to do. Amy threw the notice away, but she kept the sample and later used it to get pregnant

5:58 "is that Elle Woods?" FUN FACT: Reese Witherspoon bought the rights for the Gone Girl book with the intention of portraying Amy, but then she gave up because she thought she wouldn't be right for the part. So she remained as a producer.

Them saying they hadn’t seen a Rosamund Pike role since Saltburn like they didn’t watch Pride & Prejudice (2005) 💔

I continue to adore your editor. You three make a great team for a Youtube channel.
This is one the the better book adaptations, imo. Gillian (author of the book) and Fincher make a very compelling movie.

The note taking through out the video is too funny

This movie is psychologically amazing. She becomes "Amazing Amy" by the end of the movie, when she is adored by all.
Edit: I do miss the dark wall background, it was easier on the eyes.

I have to confess I really enjoyed how terrified Dan and Jack were of Amy by the end. Lol.😂😂
I love this film for the absolute thrill that it takes you on. Best adaptation of a book ever.

Little sad y'all cut down the Cool Girl monologue, I had that shit memorized at one point. Absolutely love this movie, plus an amazing performance from Rosamund Pike.

I’d love to see you guys react to Promising Young Woman. Another movie that has great commentary about the “nice guy”

Allie's editing gets me every time🤣🤣🤣

Rosamund Pike was in Pride and Prejudice 😌

I love how aghast jack was at the bed murder 😂😂 right into the notebook 📓

I love the little details in this movie.
Like, for example, when Nick does the interview, he is being genuine, he WAS transfixed by Amy at their first meeting. He wanted to impress her. He liked himself when they got together. He did love her.
