Appreciated that little nugget of Hawkwind lore. I also love how much he constantly reiterates just how lost and frightened and out-of-place he feels in all these places and scenes that aren't "for people like him" or whatever (as we all would). But that's just what fucking life is all about, innit? Being terrified - and having a go anyway! National treasure, so he is. What a fantastic wee trip.
