I am sure her victim suffered worst than she did.

The TORTURE? What about her actions of TORTURE that her poor victim had to endure???

Her victim had a long painful, traumatic death!! God sees everything!!

Anybody think about her last comment?  She focused on herself, and didn’t mention or apologize for the victim.

Maybe now she will realize what torture is…she tortured Colleen! I honestly do not feel sorry for her.

I am living in a country where there is no death penalty so I did not think about it very much. What I don't understand is why it takes 30 years to execute and also why they are now trying to safe her life if they wanted her to die?

What about the victim? Does she not have pain while she was being torture?

It took an hour to place the lines? Her attorneys attempted to avoid all this. This is an epic failure, TN. And has also failed Colleens family. The victims family shld not have to witness this. The attorneys shld have access to the protocol. The witnesses shld not have the curtain pulled till death is called. This is an epic failure.

I’m haunted by what happened too the victim!!!

Executions need to be humane. When they turn into torture we are no better than the person we are executing! There must be decency and dignity for us all by treating the death penalty inmate with humanity!! Otherwise we are on the same level, and the same kinds of monsters!! It needs to be carried out ethically and responsibly for us all to retain our dignity as a humane race of people!!

Life saving measures for a person sentenced to death is an oxymoron. Is she supposed to die or not?

She asked for a firing squad and they denied her. Now the state of Tennessee is going to have a huge lawsuit against them. She was ready to pay her debt to society and they couldn't get it right. SMH.....

There is something devious going on here. I’m going to tell you right now if they can euthanize people in other countries because their terminal or they just don’t wanna live anymore, there is absolutely no excuse for what happened last night to have occurred.

She had Burning and pain in her arm.  Below is what her victim went through!!

Pike and another person:

* Lured Slemmer to an isolated area.
* Cut her with a box cutter, including repeated cuts to her throat.
* Beat her repeatedly.
* Struck her in the head with rocks and a large piece of asphalt.
* Prevented her from escaping when she tried to run.
* Slemmer remained alive for part of the attack and was begging them to stop.
* Pike ultimately continued beating her until she died.
* Pike later told investigators that she kept a piece of Slemmer’s skull as a souvenir.

The snoring that the witness'  reported - could that be agonal breathing  (meaning brain damage) ?  I understand the AMA does not allow physicians / nurses to participate in exectutions . . . . . . .
