I have a 2001 CL 500 that I bought in 2008. It's now 2025 and it still turns heads everywhere I go.

This is one of Mercedes´best looking cars of all time. It is among the top 5, maybe even top 3, in my opinion. If I would suddenly get the means for some reason, this would be the car I´d buy.

I completely agree I have black 2001 CL500 and I daily drive it, these M113 engines are incredibly reliable and that 300bhp is plenty enough for every day driving and when you want to put the foot down it still pins you in your seat and leaves people shocked. Mine has an unfortunate battery drain but other than that it's incredible. Insurance on them is surprisingly cheap too.

I own two of these a 2000 and a 2003 love them both and they are both very clean and powerful

Can you give us more details on the Crossfire wheels? I have a 2006 CL500 and like your wheels. Do you have to modify any part of the Crossfire wheels? Were these from an SRT or just the standard Crossfire? Did you wind up using a different size tire than came standard on the CL500? Thanks for the video.

Build quality was too bad for it to be a true classic.Rust and electrics are a nightmare.
