"A fancy cover wrapped around some words"

This is unironically one of the most beautiful descriptions of literature I have heard

I love it

8:15 The Myers house and 1428 Elm Street. 2 places no one should want to live in but do anyway.

Ah yes, excessive relationship drama and nothing but bad decisions with a backdrop of a slasher story; this is a true, color-by-numbers young adult horror book

I love the Rob Zombie cameo with Mary's Friends

After I read Taking Shape II that covers all the unmade sequels' treatments and scripts, I got the feeling that a lot of those writers read these three books. There are a lot of plot points from these goofy novels that show up in those treatments.

Why did Doc call him “the shape?” His name is Jason!

Not Mary White’s bf selling speed to the cops 🤦🏾‍♂️

I just listened to the Scream Factory audiobook so this timing couldn't be creepily better.

I'm surprised that Mary's dad is the guy from Office Space. Also, it would be great to see the Friday the 13th and Elm St YA books get reviewed.

Why didn't Mary fall in love with Michael? That would really sell books to YA.

Waited so long for this! Scream Factory reading is a must read for that Halloween feeling

Doc, I don't know if you, yourself did your art for your 2d cutouts, but it's VERY watchable. Keep it up!

This video will be going into my halloween playlist, thanks doc.

I feel like for the next Halloween reboot they should adapt these novels and kinda just remove most of the teen romance and have more the Michael killing people parts since that’s the reason why a lot people go to these movies anyway

Cyd, you are an extremely underrated talent. Rock on, bro!
