Honestly I didn’t realize it when I first watched but Kim was unnecessarily short with Ernie. Like damn dude it’s clearly sensitive information that he doesn’t want to come back to him, have some patience Kim.

I LOVE that they set up the "put a dollar in my pocket" bit here, and that he got it from Kim

The way in the end he says “yeah I know”. He is not worried about the tape, but about the fact that his brother has betrayed him

I'd forgotten this part. Jimmy really DID tell his brother just to make him feel better and this was the thanks he got.

This is early in the series but you can see foreshadowing of Jimmy using his work persona as an escape from traumatic situations. He dismisses Kim at the end and jumps right into fake-cheerful act with clients.

Interesting that Chuck also knew how to manipulate Jimmy into a confession by playing to Jimmy's basic caring nature of him.  He "rat fucked" chuck, but ultimately couldn't let him think he was losing his mind and Chuck somehow knew he could manipulate Jimmy's weakness here.
