Landscape Photography Skye The Old Man Of Storr

I left my friend sleeping and hiked up the Old Man Of Storr before sunrise, a 2300 ft climb. The walk was worth it. From a landscape photography perspective the place is awesome. From a personal perspective the location is out of this world.

One of the best locations in the world for a photographic image. I didn't do it justice. Please, please go ...

The image on the title isn't mine . Credit goes to Nick Brierley

What an insanely beautiful locale Paul... I can't think of a better hike, bright & early to catch the light hitting the Old Man!
This is a place I just have to experience...
Best,

It absolutely puzzles me how people can dislike this footage?! All I can assume, that they are, at best, jealous. The GoPro really captures the beauty of The Storr and descending fells

Stunning shots! You've always relayed just how passionate you are about photography and landscapes, but never more than in this video. Brilliant, simply brilliant, thank you for sharing Paul.

I was up there Oct. 2016, before sunrise, just me and another photographer that beat me there. I didn't take the classic photograph, mainly because I was tired of climbing, especially after I didn't allow for enough time to beat the sun up. I took my images from more even ground below; that last few hundred feet cost me too much in energy and time to make it up there. By the time I finished, the throngs of people were showing up. We're loving it to death, lots of erosion and mud now I noticed. Thanks for the video, well done.
