What 12 Handicap Golf Actually looks like… (Hebden Bridge Golf Club)

Trying to play +6 or better through 9 holes at Hebden Bridge Golf Club in Yorkshire, England.

I'm James, a golfer with a dodgy swing playing off a 12.4 handicap.

The green fee was £17 on a weekend in September 2026 for 9 holes. Visitors must play off the blue tees which are slightly forward.

Hello James! I recently moved to a new residence and had a heck of a time with my wifi connection.But now i'm back and the first video was one of yours of course. You are correct, that track would be good cardio even for a billy goat...Beautiful scenery, although quirky. Glad to see your still enjoying this funny ol game, as it tends to beat us up at times. As usual i enjoyed watching it and look forward to the next......Cheers once again mate!

Well played, it's the kind of course that punishes good shots and anything short or slightly off line is often dead. The beautiful greens highlighted your excellent putting, what a stunning course.

This was not only a test of your golfing skills, but also a test of your golf fitness. I must say you passed both test with flying colors. You hit some really great shots, despite the fact that it seemed you never had a flat lie. What a beautiful course! I kept waiting to hear the Lord of Rings theme song. That looks a lovely course, the view on the 6th green was fantastic with the sunset. The most beautiful course I played was Callander up near Dunblane. We did a two dayer and played Ralston near Paisley and then onto Callander. Many thanks again.

James, few years ago I asked if you were going to start selling merchandise, the ‘no drama’ hat and maybe a ‘solid golf’ one.

I also think you should bring out a not a perfect golfer calendar.

If you could get moving on this venture so I can get the calendar in time for the new year I would appreciate it.
