Dear Maya.. Depression can be such a challenge.. for me the secret was to keep moving. It is wonderful that you get to be outside in nature. Having your bike is such a gift.
When I had no purpose... that was the hardest.
That you can connect with so many caring people through your YouTube channel is quite amazing. I could never have done that.
It seems like you are finding your way and also spreading hope and joy to others. Thank You for sharing your journey. 🙏
PS: Your comments on AI are most interesting. Your approach to teaching is admirable.

Hi Maya, good for you for wearing a helmet! My older sister was biking about 20 yrs ago, they were trail riding, no helmets and she hit a rock, flew over the handlebars, hit her head on a big rock and started convulsing. She was in hospital for 4 months learning to walk and talk again and still has many issues from the accident like migraines, forgetfulness and dizziness.

Maya, it looks like your cold has left your body. Thank goodness! It's terrible being alone when one's sick. So glad you are up and about 😊. I noticed in the picture of Canada, where you are sitting with two girlfriends, you had a bike helmet on. So you rode a bicycle back then too. That's fantastic. I've also been riding for many years and still do. I like longish rides...50-100 kilometers! It keeps one in shape.

Hi Maya. My family owned a bicycle store for 20 years and we always told people that helmets preven us from having to learn to walk or talk again after a bad accident. And mostly they protect us from other people's mistakes and accidents that could involve us. No matter how careful you are, someone else might not be. I'm proud of you for wearing a helmet. Any trauma surgeon would be too. 🙂🙂 Good job taking care of yourself!

Depression is so common. Working, having a routine, being around others helps so much. Happy you have the courage to discuss depression because so many suffer in silence. You are blessed with a beautiful country, a lovely home, and rich memories of those who loved you. From childhood, I have discovered that I seek something beautiful each day. A sunset. A tree in bloom. A rose. Sunlight on a river. A soft rain. A smile. A tasty meal. So much to be grateful for and there is beauty in each day. I wish you peace and joy today.

great video friend. im 68 yrs old and lost my husband last yr to cancer been one yr this month. it has been hard moving on without love of my life but im doing it . have some days where i stay alone and dont socialize but those days are getting fewer now you can do it my friend just keep moving forward. at your own pace. have a wonderful day!
