25:20 It’s that “satisfying smile” I see on your face, when I know someone coming in brand new, officially becomes fan, — that is my absolute favorite thing! 😊

I feel like nolan's batman movies are just great movies in general. The sequel dark knight is often considered one of greatest movies ever made

when Fox is explaining the batsuit he mentions Nomex survival suit. Nomex is fireproof material/brand firefighters use on their suits/jackets

For what it's worth, "superhero" movies are very often about an individual who is either a) misunderstood and a social outcast b) an ordinary person who gets thrusted into a role they never wanted or didn't ask for c) has some tragic backstory and becomes the product of said trauma. In essence, the underlying "themes" of superhero stories are to help teach us that it's okay to be different and embrace our uniqueness and individuality, learn to accept or cope with the hardships of life, and make the most of who we are and where we come from, and use that for good in this world. We also learn similar backstories for the villains too, and use that as a cautionary tale. Superhero stories tend to be morality stories, actually.

comic books have long been considered kiddie fare, so it took a few decades for hollywood to become convinced to spend the dollars and resources on a-list writers, actors and special effects on movies they never expected adults to sit in theaters for. as critic roger ebert (r.i.p.) wrote in his 2005 review: "this is, at last, the batman movie i've been waiting for."
