People who are not addicted can never understand how hard it is really to quit these drugs especially if u have been on them for many many years but i dont really blame them.

I got hooked on Percocet after I had a c-section and it got to the point my habit was $150 a day and just not sustainable anymore. The doctor put me on suboxone and I stayed on that for 6 miserable yrs. All because I couldn’t face going through withdrawals. Little did I know going through the Percocet withdrawals would have been easier and faster. I weaned down from 4 mg suboxone strip to 1mg and just jumped off cold turkey because I just couldn’t keep myself tied down to this drug anymore. It was the worst excruciating experience I’ve ever experienced. The first 2 weeks of withdrawal was literally hell. It took me a month and a half to feel somewhat normal. I’ve been clean now 11 months and I’m so proud. Your mind is stronger than your body. You can do it.

I completely understand how you felt while on suboxone not knowing who you were anymore. I’ve been on it for 10 years and it’s scary bc I barely remember the real me and I’m getting to the point that I’m finally DONE. One thing that I think will help me is I qualified for 2 free sublocade shots and they come out of your system gradually over 6 months time and I’ve heard miracle stories of it helping ppl get off suboxone with minimal WD. I believe this time I WILL be free!! So proud of you man!!

Day 10 - I want it. Been too long. It’s like MK Ultra program for addicts.  Doing this at home. Going to find a counselor tomorrow to talk with. My Dr. has no fucking clue how to ween people off this. I came up with my own plan and I’m in day 10 and fucking proud.

Down to 0.25mg once a day with Tuesday and Saturday doing nothing. Working a program, hitting the gym, praying/meditating. Next step is alternating 0.25mg every other day. I relate so much to your story. I’m a chronic relapse and went to rehab for abusing subutex/Xanax a long time ago. No words to describe that hell.

Thanks a lot for the video man. I'm at 24 days off of Suboxone now, took two weeks off of work and did it at home. Still experiencing physical symptoms but each week is less and less. This is the most realistic videos about getting off Suboxone I have seen.

I went through Suboxone nightmare back in 2010. You are a warrior for God son. Now you are on the right path. Using what you were able to learn as God gave you strength in the fiery furnace. You just walked back through the fire into the Kingdom.

Stay strong!!I’ve been on this shit for over 13 years, failed 3 times to get off I’m 31 now but you have to mentally ready in order to stop, I cant believe it took me 13 fn years of my brain being locked up being emotionless not caring about relationship pushing people away the things I had to go through...just thankful to be alive today, I’m on day 5 my emotions are all over the place but overall I have one goal push through  looking forward to the future staying positive keepin busy.

I think a good thing to mention which helped me is , ask your dr. To give you 4mg strips. Or even 2mg strips. It’s easier to break the pieces smaller. And the strips themselves are bigger which tricks your mind into thinking you’re taking more.

I’ve been on subs since 2016 and I’m trying to get off them. It’s hard to do it cold turkey . I use to take 2 films a day, for the past 2 months I’ve been cutting the film into 6 small pieces and the small pieces I cut them down even smaller . So now I take a tiny piece instead of 2 a day . I do feel the withdrawals, chills, and hot flashes . I always tell myself wish I never took them in the first place . Hopefully by next year I’m done . Thanks for this video !

By far the best description of trying to quit Suboxone and how truly hard it is compared to every other drug aside from benzos. Thank you for giving us hope, I’ve tried and failed multiple times and the withdrawals were so brutal I got ptsd and it terrifies me to think of attempting it again. I can handle the pain and mental anguish for a period of time. When a week or more goes by and nothing is getting better it becomes so fucking hard for me it’s the time it takes to fight the withdrawals. It’s not the withdrawals by themselves. Having no way to escape you can’t sleep it away your awake 24/7 for weeks, can’t eat and have no motivation and no energy while being the most anxious and depressed you have ever been. No escape and all you can think about is taking a sub will make this all go away. You will not be able to hold down a job I promise you that from the bottom of my heart, it’s just not possible with no good or sleep and extreme mental health issues. God bless everyone who’s in my position and much respect to everyone like Tyler who beat this thing. You’re truly a warrior.
