Arguing about the accuracy of the Watchmen movie when none of them understand Watchmen.

The name of Static's cartoon has done irreparable permanent damage to the identity of that character

10:32 static shock lmao wtf

Perfect length of the video btw

Bane also is a top tier villain. He’s not just brute strength he’s intelligent. He’s got goons he’s got his island

4:37 something has to break up the blue. Especially THAT blue. A belt would be great, if we’re too scared to do the trunks. So to not even have a belt to break up the monotony of the onesie makes him look more intimidating in a bad way.

I just wanna say that I know it’s a group so it may not be in the same category, but the X-Men, their rogues gallery stacked up against all the best rogues galleries it’s right up there with flash Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man.

Great editing to jump immediately into the content. Love it

Discovered this impound guy recently, I hope to see him on the podcast soon

The watchman comic and film may look the same but the way themes are presented changes them completely.

10:32 love the respect on static 😂

The dude in the middle is the most based about dc.

The guy with the white cap is dumb

As a hulk fan now that sentry is in MCU if we don't get that fight I will be very disappointed.😊

Finally got a REAL one on the podcast

The Snyder movies was a Greek tragedy that just happen to have superhero’s.

James gun is a formulaic, fast food movie. Can be good for what it is

The nano tech made me groan. Downy just needs to suck it up and get in a regular suit without cgi in every single shot. Looks so much better for those close ups

I was randomly thinking about this the other day; has anyone else ever wondered if Gunn chose to give Corenswet the Kingdom Come logo as a direct response to how bleak an violent the Snyder and maybe even Singer movies were?

New sub, coming through!

10:52  In Universe 616, Spider-Man has never lifted the hammer in the comics. If I recall correctly, wisdom is one of the requirements for wielding Mjolnir, and Spider-Man often doubts his actions in battle. Furthermore, you have to be a warrior capable of killing—but only when necessary—whereas Spider-Man has a strict no-killing rule. In any case, I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually make it canon that he can lift it; it would be a very fun story to read.
