The main message from this is how vile and putrid social media has turned the human race.

The fact the dog chewed up his passport a couple of days before shows he should have never gone anywhere. God bless his family.

To Jay’s mum, if you are reading this and I hope you do, please know that there are so many good, decent people who care about what happened to your son. Seeing you on sky news today broke my heart. I send you my sincerest love and hugs. 🙏

He was out of it, in boiling heat, unfamiliar area, got lost and fell. All these people trying to make it something its not for content, shame on you all, how would you feel if it was your son.. Very sad. The simplest stories are often the truth

All these people on social media thinking they are detectives,phycologists,forensics; when actually they have no qualifications and can barely string a sentence together,are so problematic.

The dog chewing his passport & him questioning whether to go or not,teaches me to always listen to my gut feelings.

Debbie, warren and zach…if you ever read this…please know that not everyone thought those horrible things of Jay and you guys. Most parents felt your absolute heartbreak and just wanted to give you a hug. RIP Jay 💙

Social media is a cancer on society. It should be banned.

Having had a brother who died at a house party in 96 by falling asleep and vomiting in his sleep. Which, lead to investigations. I'm so grateful we went through that as hard as it was 29 years ago and not having to negotiate social media too.
It was truly sad to see this unfold. I hate that as a society, people are quick to demonise and quick to dramatise others suffering. Instead of being respectful and helpful until truth is actually found.

It was nice to see how much Jay was loved by his mother, father , brother and uncle … the pain they must have gone through would be unbearable, stay together guys , make the most of the rest of your lives and you’ll meet again in heaven ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely heartbreaking 💔 I can’t imagine the pain his family as gone through R.I.P jay 😢

@JewelOshevire-n4b 11 months ago

Jay's story will never be forgotten, it's a reminder to choose your friends wisely and always keep your family close .
He was only 19💔 had so much to live for . Whatever happened in Tenerife will come to light , I truly believe that whatever happens in the darkness will come to light.

I just want to give his mum a big hug, I'm so sorry for the loss of your gorgeous lad.

@emmarenton4935 7 months ago

I’ve watched many documentaries about deaths and murders etc over the years. But this one, this one had me in tears multiple times while watching. As a mum of four lads, I can only imagine the utter devastation this would cause. Not just the loss of Jay, but all that followed with social media. Those people in my mind have no heart, no empathy for others. My heart goes out to Jays family. He was clearly very loved by all who knew him.
Rest in eternal peace Jay ❤
