Craig Morton is a forgotten legend in the nfl. But he had amazing talent and won a lot of games. R.I.P to one of the more gifted quarterbacks in history. DC for Life.
This is the best documentary on the life of Craig Morton. You brought up a lot things about his upbringing and career that 🎉I had either forgotten or didn't know. The details you went into and covered like his desire to play baseball were riveting. Yet with an arm like his, he could do what ever he wanted. I hope the cowboys give him an honor befitting his achievements that he led Dallas in. LC you have done it again. I am very very glad I got to see this video. LoL, tomorrow I'm going to block one hour to rewatch it again, while eating a nice 🍕. God bless you my friend and have a wonderful blessed weekend. 👍
So glad you covered Craig Morton. You have a gift for telling stories the right way. He was from the era where QBs traded big hits for big completions. Only Staubach could supplant him. Still remember Staubach saying he couldn't be friends with Morton because he was competing with him for the starting job. Morton was a good man and like the Cowboys & Landry he was always classy. RIP Craig Morton.
Bro, I am always impressed by your editing skills. And you are constantly improving. I'm glad you made a vid on this. I had always dismissed Craig since I wasn't around during that time and my parents always talked about Staubach. But that's why I'm subbed. Looking forward to the next one.
I agree that he was an excellent QB who was underrated. He'll always be the first QB to lead two different teams to the Super Bowl. This video is a good homage. RIP.
Thanks for this LC! I started watching the Cowboys when Morton was almost gone and was always a Staubach fan but I appreciate knowing about Morton and appreciate the video as always. RIP Craig Morton.
Thanks for a tribute to a great Cowboy, even though he didn't QB that first Super Bowl victory he was very much an important part of the win...his class can be seen in his comment to Coach Landry at the end of Super Bowl VI.
