WORLD VALE TUDO CHAMPIONSHIP 1, A 8 MAN BARE KNUCKLE TOURNAMENT! Around the time of the first UFC Brazil had World Vale Tudo Championship. WVC attracted stars like Marco Ruas and Mark Kerr along with others from the UFC like Steve Jennum and Paul Varelans. This first tournament was in a ring (with loose ropes) which adds a lot of intrigue to the night. I hope you enjoy it!

Take a shot everytime the announcer says "trying to find some kind of advantage" 😂

Back when we called it NHB

Red Heard was actually very impressive with his grappling skills and ground game, especially for a non-Brazilian in the '90s. Worked hard and used various strategies to get the wins, very nice job 💪🏼💪🏼

I think most of you know more about MMA than these announcers lol

Marco Ruas looked like a monster. Poor old UFC champion Steve Jennum had no chance!

What's with tapping out then smiling? Go until the end without fear.

That was awesome man. Thanks for uploading. I can see why they use cages instead of ring ropes in modern MMA!

Wow strikes to the back of the head and spine. hair pulling ,nut kicks, stomping ,finger snapping looks pretty brutal.
