I almost always do other things while listening to podcasts, which is why I'll have to listen to this one again, without distraction. It's kind of interesting that after all the time the Jobava has been around, you're recommending it about a week after I started considering switching to it from the London. Anyway, IMO, you can save yourself the trouble of doing visuals. The value of the pod is in the audio.

I haven't tried it yet, I was an accelerated London player but it's got very popular, so I've gone to 1.d4 2.nf3 so I can stay in the London or play into the colle or go c4.

This is only the 2nd pod of yours that I’ve listened to, but a phrase you used stuck with me since - “set it, and forget it” . Perhaps it stuck with me because since I returned to chess post-Queen’s Gambit, I have taken the opposite approach, taking a detail-oriented, granular approach to my openings…

Since I see that you recommend the JL for white, what defenses do you recommend for black, that you find most suitable for your SIAFI approach? ☺️🙏
