Even Jensen and Jared hated Bugs.

This is awesome! This is something I wished every reactor would do; having a proper review after every season of the show to see where they stand and how they feel in general. Thank you for doing this. I'm looking forward to season 2 ❤

Also, "Who's to say? a therapist probably" made me laugh out loud 😂

"I love how much Dean cares for Sam and I love how much Sam cares for absolutely everything" omg that's such a sweet + interesting interpretation of their priorities... we got a Real Supernatural Fan on our hands here!!

I do not think that you are alone in  your reason for not watching before , I heard similar thoughts before. I will say that it was my husband that told me about the show before it aired, he was excited about the premise. When I heard that Jensen was on it, I was on board. Without any spoilers I will just say that my husband watched and enjoyed the first five seasons but then maybe he got a little put off on how much it had taken over my life.

Loved, loved, loved this!!
Great job, can't tell you how much I enjoy your reactions 💜✌

Excellent season recap! I’ve enjoyed your journey so far and can’t wait for season 2!

Wait I dig this format

Thank you for being so entertaining.

This review/recap was just as good or better than the original reaction.  Keep up the good work and see you in season 2

Misouri was supposed to be a reoccuring character, but she was also on Greys Anatomy and wasn't available anymore. Also, no one likes it when the boys argue, not even the cast and crew. Sam wasn't a shit shot, the demon is strong enough to teleport. Sam and dean ARE my favourite fictional characters and i NEVER thought any character would unseat Buffy. Okay maybe not unseat but squeak by to take top spot. The Sam&Dean relationship is the beating heart of this show and from this point the writers know it. Ok, they began figuring that out pretty quickly but it wasn't intended to be such a big part of the show in the begining. The brother chemistry between J2 exploded all over those first few episodes, and they began to write it more and more. By this point everyone is clear what this show is about. Now it gets even better. Season 2 is one of my overall fav seasons and you're about to find out why. Thank you for such fun reactions, I love all your little comments and in the immortal words of Kim Manners (who used to say this on set all the time)  lets kick it in the ass!

"Kick him in the dik " lmao I laughed a lil too hard there. I cannot wait till u get to S3 -S4!!

So.. recap then gag reel?
oh.. you included a clip of it at the end.

Many people can relate to not starting the series when it aired..  Just this past weekend, at a convention, a guy who was in line to ask a question, started  with a request that  Jensen thank his wife, Daneel, for taking him off the market.
Jensen agreed and said when he does, we might be able to hear the eye roll.

BTS - when directors called cut, after the boys had a fight, even the crew would say, we hate it when they fight.
There have been scenes.. oh wait, not yet.. spoilers..
never mind.

I’ve really enjoyed your S1 journey, especially your “Kick It’s” which make me chuckle.
I’m not sure if you’re watching via Prime or if you have the dvds but please don’t forget to check out the bloopers at the end of each season, it’s like a little reward. The bloopers for each season are on here.

Please try not to scare the murder mittens 🐈‍⬛ he/she has 14 more seasons to go 😉

Loved your reactions to one of my fave shows.long may it continue 👏👏👏👏👏👏

I really  enjoyed this summation. Thanks for doing it. I don't always watch these, but yours was really interesting to watch. I like how you did it.
I'm also so glad you're hooked on the  show and the characters. It does tend to do that.  And is also why, I think,  so many people binge watch it within a few months - or even weeks. It's crazy.
So, you likely realize that season 1 was where we got the foundation built for what's to come. Viewers have a sense of the world, the main lore, and main characters. Now it's time to build on top of that foundation.
I really like season 1. It's very nostalgic for me. It's so nice to come back to it after finishing the final season.
There's no telling what you'll think about future seasons. Perspectives are all over the place. There are people who love some seasons that others hate. Or have an indifference over. It runs the gamut. Same with characters. You're likely going to get some sort of spoilers over characters. Just know that it can be misleading. There are characters that are fan favorites who were hardly on the show, yet people can't stop raving about them. It varies.
The thing you said about the 2 hot guys meaning the show might focus on the normal CW type of stuff touches on something that has affected perception of the show since the beginning. People tended to see it as a cheap, vappy, CW cookie cutter show for young girls. But that is so far from the case. Kripke had no intention of making the show go down that road. Not even a little bit.
I hope you're liking what you've seen of season2 so far.
HEAD'S UP! - At the end of Season 2, Episode 8 there is a preview/sneak peek of the next upcoming episodes. It comes right after you see "Soon". It's very spoilery!

This is great, wasn’t expecting a wrap up done like this but it was awesome. Think that was the best reaction to the final scene I’ve ever seen (poor kitty 🤣) I started it about half way into the season after my husband thought it might be good though he never got into it … maybe that was his reason too…. It makes sense he’d be jealous 🤣.

I really think the amazing camaraderie of the cast is responsible for how good this show is. Another show with the leads having this kind of bond is Merlin.. would love to see you react to that. Also Grimm had a similar vibe with the cast.
Thanks for the entertaining reactions!

Glad you discovered this

Welcome to the Winchester boys

First five seasons are the show; complete arc, solid show; if it had ended there it would still be one of my favorite shows

First season is solid and every subsequent season accelerates the groove

Everything after that is effectively fan fiction, because they have to retcon “big bad” stuff every now and again

Still, every season has banger episodes, especially the ‘gimmick’ shows in later seasons

Also, some of my favorite characters appear in the later seasons

Hope you keep going

All We All Need to Know Now is... WHEN YOU STARTING S2 E1 LOL??

This was so good

Loved having your retrospective view of the whole season. I know it must have taken time to edit.
