Upgrading your guns is half the fun in Dead Space, so I decided to see if I could beat the game on Impossible without upgrading a single thing. It got pretty rough by the end, but here's how it went down. Let me know what challenge I should try next!

Short answer yes, with minimum difficulty as well. This is my favorite way to play this game because it forces you to use your tool kit to full advantage and limits you resources, inventory space, and dps with your gear, you start to realize while doing this run that every tool has a purpose and will counter certain enemies perfectly, my favorite example is the flame thrower which goes from a throw aaway peace of equipment to a vital core to the more strenuous combat loop, making short work of swarm, holding back enemies while searing there flesh to make your dismembering of them easier, and combined with stasis the secondary fire can complete wipe wall guardians with no effort. This is the best way to experience this game because admittedly it's to easy for series vets. I absolutely adore this franchise and I'm glad we got this remake

How you summed up the Dead Space experience:
"Dead Space is easily one of the most satisfying survival horror games ever made & half the fun in Dead Space is upgrading your weapons and watching the limbs fly off the necromorphs"
"Things seem really quiet but obviously that doesn't last too long"
"... even though a single enemy goes down relatively easy, you are always getting attacked from all directions, you have to make sure nothing is creeping up behind you while you focus on the guy in front"
"... and the horror of Dead Space - it's starting to set in"
"[The Pulse Rifle] ... it clearly didn't even work for its previous user"
"Chapter 5 has always been personal for me: when I played the original Dead Space as a teenager, I was so terrified of the 'regenerator' (Hunter) that I quit the game and never finished it"
"[Supervisor Dallas' self mutilation Audio Log] 12:56"
"Jacob Temple ends up dying because Isaac cannot lie"
"The Hunter dies, Dr. Mercer dies... I almost died"
...and last but not least: "It's rough" 😂
I love Dead Space. I loved this video. You got a sub! ❤
