"Sobriety for Father Jack must be like taking some mad hallucinogenic". That's my favourite line in the series. I'm amazed the audience barely reacted to it.

John and Mary are a parody (although not too far off the mark) of a rural married couple who have grown to hate each other. They stay married and act so in love in front of the priests because they think it's expected of them and they are afraid to go against the church. Another element to that is the fact that catholic couples wanting to get married in a church here have to pay to attend a course on how to be happily married delivered by a priest who has never been married himself. It's one of the most brilliantly observed aspects of parochial life in rural Ireland in the show.

'When you fell out of the helicopter? Over the zoo? Remember, the tigers? ... You were wearing your blue jumper?'
'AHHHH! Sister Assumpta, yes, hello there!'

No wonder Jack hurled himself through the window! ... Sister Assumpta's a psycho!!  😂

I get thrown  by the fact Randy is a name in America and that means something very different here in the uk.

I just want to know what the props department thought when they were told to make a pint costume, a cigarette costume and a giant roller blade.

I enjoy your Father Ted reactions so much, I really look forward to them. Its probably my favourite comedy, and I always wondered what it would be like to see an American react to it, to see if they understand the Irish humour. I've seen other reaction videos to it from other Americans, but yours are by far the best. In other videos that I've seen the people didn't really get it, and their reactions were a bit over the top, and literal. You really seem to genuinely get the humour, and its fun to watch. I like your Inbetweeners and The IT Crowd reactions too. It's a good channel, and I can't wait for the rest of the Father Ted reactions.

The guy that said 'Some mad man has put up a cross' was Graham Linehan

The Plague; Think Fast Father Ted; Flight Into Terror. Every one a classic.

Can we all just let the man react in the order that he sees fit. Theres not that many episodes . We all love them all and we are going to get to see them eventually.

Mattie Hislop is based on real life Dublin man Matt Talbot. When Talbot died in Dublin it was discovered that he had chains wrapped around his body. The chains were said to be a symbol of his devotion to Mary, Mother of God.

That word does mean cigarettes but it does also mean the other which you know, depends on the context of how you use the word.

Happy belated Birthday Noah.

I don't care what episode you do next, I just love them all!

Jack just doesn't like nun's...

Not that's it's even a big deal but it's nice to hear an American say 'arse' and 'series'!

"Chirpy burpy cheap sheep" another gem

17:21 The moment Father Jack remembers that he's scared of nuns!

7:45 John goes to give Mary the back of his hand until Ted opens the door, which was quiet common back in the day in Ireland amongst abusive couples.😮

"What, this isn't the first step? There are still 10 steps to go?"  Welcome to Catholicism, Father Ted!
