World of IO really rewards bad decisions, and I'm here for it. 😂

For a touch of context the campaign with Bubs, Carver, Sybil, and Eddard. The city they're in has a massive hole in the center that is also a megadungeon that they're exploring so lots of areas have massive drops that are basically death sentences.

Yeah Juniper has abysmal dice rng 🤣

Sybil in fact later on tells Carver "YOU'RE IN DEBT!" to justify the looting of everything, and taking apart bodies.  It was so frequent...it became a mechanic that was not originally there xD.

Can't drink healing potions?... undead!

Tomato deciding that Carver had a potion allergy was what started the "How miserable can Carter's life get and how many mechanics can be piled on him" intrusive thought train.

15:39 Tomato (Carver’s player) has no room to complain because almost every added mechanic has been playing off things he says

Watching these animations/shorts from oldest to newest helps putting the context in order but I love that you are as amazed and confused by their insanity like many of us fans. Also if it helps with the shorts and animations, sometimes they're edited to fit with the shortform length so in cases of Bubs being spat right out, you miss them having to make the saving throw.

For context on the dwarf falling down multiple floors,
They were he fell from the 4th floor of the building to the 1st floor,
Which is high for a regular person,
But in D&D a lot of characters can survive that at level 4 already.

When the first words out of the DMs mouth is "Are you sure?" there's a good chance you should NOT be sure of what you were going to do.

5:50 - For context - this was Masae's (Bub's player) first time playing D&D using the online system that they're using, so she didn't know that pointing out items uses a different key as it does to actually control their character.

10:56 the spell measures whatever it creates in pounds and you measure alcohol that way when it is dehydrated into bricks

Remember Carver debt is because of the 10ft pole that he paid by the foot. So that mean's he paid per foot a 100 gold since he stated that his debt start at 1000 gold plus interest.

Funny thing is that southern belle from the campaign with the skeleton and Liu Kang is actually a dhampir

11:05 and then Rag was born! (The nun deep dwarf in the very previows short). Yeah, this thing, with stats worse than a fucking commoner, has survived thro the entirety of the curse of stradh campaign in hardcore. They are at the very finally with only another NPC and stradh to kill basically. She and Gremil (the dwarf with only one arm that only wants to drink) are the only survivors of the 5 starting characters.

20:30 is the twin halfling siblings you see the player made last time by the way.

For some context. The GM of this game, has a tendency to go with what the players say a lot of the time. So when Carver described how he was I. Crippling debt, that became a major part of his backstory.

wooHOO!

15:39 he can get healing potions but they have to be specific made with his allergies in mind and they aren’t cheap (he has only had two he can use in the campaign)

I'm convinced you would love Dingo Doodles and their "Fools Gold" campaign she animated. It'd amazing dnd content and not enough people are reacting to her content 💜
