"I lock my car's door" became integral to the way any and all my characters reply to danger.

The context for the “hold the baby” bit is actually quite horrifying

Spoilers for the campaign, but the child of a townmaster was brought back from the dead by a shady individual as a “miracle,” and to gain leverage over the townmaster and his wife.  This leads to the wife dying horribly and the townmaster taking his own life, leaving the baby alone.  The party adopts the baby and quickly realizes that something is terribly wrong with it, as it seemingly has no mind or soul, does not eat, and is seemingly decaying whilst in their possession.
The reason they want different people to hold the baby is that different party members have different adverse reactions to doing so, leading to a big “what the hell is going on with this baby” moment.

Carver being brutally tethered to reality is entirely fault of Tomato, his player. It started when Tomato decided he was allergic to healing potions and the DM, Brett, decided to be a wingman of torment and the two have been going back and forth in the grand game of "How can Carver's life get more depressing?"

Small people become necromancers so they can summon someone to reach the high shelves at the grocery store.

7:10 The weight of Glory is absolutely diabolical. The siblings are halflings, i.e. small creatures, halfling average is 35pounds. Gremil is a dwarf, a medium sized creature who averages 150pounds (and based on the image of him, I suspect he's heavier than average). It's like a regular human being told they weigh as much as a horse xD

15:51 thats how Tommy, the goblin killer, was born

05:00 Well SPOILER for the Curse of Sthrod campaign. Gremil, the drunk dwarf who tried to eat the (totaly not poisoned) pie (that was totaly not made out of people) a few sesions before found an animated armor in a wizards tower. He guessed the password for it and now it fallows it around and he decided to call it Armor-chan.

(A bit dark / morbid) The baby is a kid that died in a village before players visited it. An antagonist from that region has ressurected this baby as a way to manipulate the parents and force them to do a favour for him. Becose of the way the cursed lands they are in work the baby ended up with no soul. The father died by self deleation with a rope and a branch after his wife died trying to perform the favour for the antagonist. The players could have left the baby with the guard but they took it with them to take care of it. The baby seems to be cursed, emits dark ooze and puts some usualy negative status effect on a person holding it but it varries from person to person witch is why Glory (the halfling girl) asks others to hold the baby, to see what effect it will have on them. They put it inside the armor becose it's not getting any negative effects since it's a magical construct with no soul or mind

18:09 walked right into that.

14:20 in Brett's Hardcore Campaigns, every time you level up you get what's called a Fate Point, i don't know the full scope of what it can do for you but i know you can spend it to reroll any one of your six stats using 3d6. the good news is that your stats can only ever increase, so if a player as a 10 Dex and rolls a 5 their Dex remains at 10, the bad news is you can't roll again until you get another point. so if you roll lower than your current score it's basically a "tough shit" moment

i also know you can spend the points to get various items, Gremil, the drunken dwarf that snagged the healing potions, used his Fate Points to get a set of Adamantine Half-Plate so now he's a Totem Barbarian that has resistance to all forms of damage except psychic when he rages and can't be critically hit

Edit: 20:40 also, i read a comment that said there was about a 5 minute gap of silence from this player between the fart and "I LAUGHED SO HARD NOTHING CAME OUT!"

Also from what I can tell, ‘Friend’ is Bub’s summon.

6:35 the funny thing about this clip is we actually get a reason why Carver was let go later on in the story. ( the goblin that runs the guild meets this “grworf” that is better in every way other than the name. They have the EXACT SAME NAME. And on paper that is ALL that matters to the guild.)

13:18 Somewhere, the fully alive, breathing, mouth-having Human Artificer (Armor subclass) known as Marius weeps, and does not know why.

14:18 they are playing hardcore D&D. The rules are
1. Aside from class, You roll for eveything when you make a character(like stats, race, background)
2. When you roll stats you roll 3d6 and not the standard 4d6 drop the lowest one. The stats you roll are also in order, you don't pick what goes where.
3. Every level up you get a fate point, you can use a fate point to rerole a stat ( the stats can only go up, not down). You can also keep the point for later, when you get three fate points you get a free magic item( how rare depends on bow many magic items you got that way)
4. Fate points are tied to your character, not the player, so if you die, and you had fate points, your new character will not have any

I've been really enjoying to your reactions to IO stuff!❤

If you want more dnd stuff to react to after you're done with IO, i recommend watching shorts from Tales From The Stinky Dragon!

2:36 The car door thing is a bit, the party was actually traveling in a wagon in the session

17:05 Skyrim. I'm sure this is also doable with BG3, but this meme originates from Skyrim.

for those who don't know. That Int dump wizard was the only one from the original party to survive to the end of that campaign

02:10 I love it when people accidentally gloss over the "car" being just a normal cart being pulled by one of the party members and just think this is a campaign where cars are a thing XD

To be perfectly precise: The wyvern didn't even last ONE round. It had it's turn, failed each attack it tried to land, and then got pushed from a cliff.

The funniest part of this scene is that they play in a VTT, with tokens that can turn and flip. so when he said they would need some kind of access code, all their tokens simultaneously flipped and rotated to look directly at Marius. Silently, and with 0 prior communication. 😂 I died when i watched that.
