America: We live the so-called 'American dream'
Europe: We don't live in a dream because we're awake

America, the place where lessons are not learned.

I live in a country where masked Gestapo goons do not snatch people off the street.

Imagine being sent to war on the other side of the world for half a year, having to kill other human beings, doing that a couple of times and still not being allowed to grab a beer and talk about it when you get back home

Australia's so friggin' big, but we still manage to travel overseas

I was in Germany, I drove straight on for eleven hours and am still in Germany.
It’s true that many European countries are smaller than Germany, and it’s also true that we can travel between different countries and cultures in no time, while it takes the same amount of time to travel between different American states. But isn’t exactly this the best reason to hop on a plane and travel abroad?!
I don’t get why many Americans say that they don’t travel abroad because the USA is so big.
For starters, Europe is bigger than the USA. And although we have the possibility to experience different countries by car, by train or even by bicycle, many of us still travel outside of Europe.
The world has the same size for all of us. Yet some of us travel overseas and try to experience as many cultural differences as they can, and some (I’m looking at you, Americans!) seem to think that exploring their own culture is enough.
Sad thing is: You will even never really understand your own culture if you have never experienced other cultures.
I really think if more Americans traveled outside the US (or had YouTube channels like yours 😉) the political climate in your country would be different.
So many Americans seem to forget that there‘s a world outside of the USA, and if they are aware of it, they often have very funny ideas of what this world looks like. That makes you so much more vulnerable when it comes to manipulation and misinformation.

Education is free in Denmark and many other European countries and if you are over 18 you're paid a monthly fee while studying.

the picture of European architecture is the Hall of Mirrors in the Versailles Palace in France.

What borders complete madness and insanity?
Canada and Mexico

I hear all the time from Americans... America is so big that's why we don't go anywhere else. Canada, larger than America in area, more Canadians travel outside their borders than Americans. Russia almost twice the size of America in size. More Russians travel outside their country than Americans. Australia almost as big as America. More Australians travel to Europe than Americans which can take up to twice as long to do so. China is larger than America. More Chinese travel outside their country than Americans... Now what was that excuse again?

When I was in America in the late 90s,  a bank was giving away a free gun if you took out an account there. Is it still the same? I found this terrifying, as a Brit.

6:20 I Denmark college isn’t just free, but you get paid monthly to attend. The amount varies depending on your life situation, if your are living at home you get less, if you have kids you get more. And free healthcare too, the only thing you would have to pay for yourself is a dentist. No medical bills ruining peoples life over here!

Australians are further away than the US yet still manage to visit Europe.  You do know you don’t drive all the way don’t you, just to the airport

When Americans says that the US is the best country in the world Europeans: 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

You hit the nail on the head when you said that only a few states in America are larger than Europe, Europe is larger 10,530,000 km², the USA 9,867,000 km², so Europe is larger
😂

4:32 That's what it's like for Australia too

I'm afraid only very few will be able to relate how weird this video is to watch as:
- A Dane that made it into the national top 20 as a competitive rifle shooter.. l
- Been to the US multiple times and have been asked for ID when buying just a couple of beers... despite being obviously above 30 years old.
- Hasn't got any student or medical debt... because it's covered by taxes. And even travel insurance is only $200 for when you visit.

What you doing over there?

A mile is walking distance in Europe.

I think a lot of us cannot understand the lack of collective responsibility.  In developed countries we regard our taxes as a way of providing for the needs of the whole society.

Imagine going to war for your country and you get injured and as a result of that injury you get a $50,000 hospital bill.
