Reading the comments I realise now that i was definitely making up a story in my head but honestly i had fun doing it, my bad if i totally screwed up every song meaning…

I love how you really LISTEN to the music. You aren’t just sitting and letting it play, you actually consume it…. Also thank you for not pausing a song 15389 times, I can’t tell you how rare that is in the reaction space 😂

Did I literally JUST finish listening to a folklore album reaction? Yes.
Am I going to listen to yours now? Yes.

My Tears Ricochet is about Taylor’s record label selling her first 6 albums to someone Taylor didn’t like or respect when she was trying to buy them herself. The lyrics “and when you can’t sleep at night, you hear my stolen lullabies.”  refers to those albums. Taylor in the last few weeks bought back her first six albums and now owns all the rights to her entire discography.

I’m CRACKING UP at the fake lore 😂😂😂😂 I think Taylor would love it 😍

In my lifetime,  there has been no bigger collective hallucination than of those who think they know what Taylor is like without ever having listened to her.  I was one of them.  When you find her, it's like you've been given new mental crayons that were not in the big box of 64 colors. 🩵

FINALLY some appreciation for This Is Me Trying, and he's not even listening to Long Pond! 🤩👏😁 No but hip hop fans always hear the lyrics that's why i love their reactions most

Watch Long Pond Sessions and Taylor will tell you everything 😊

Taylor on. Eyes closed. Headphones on. Night.

Nothin better.

Shout out to all the other precocious “gifted” kids who ended up getting addicted to substances, this is me trying is our anthem
I knew you would appreciate the bars she spits on that one

Hearing you giggle 5 seconds into the songs makes me so happy 😂😂😂

‘The last great American dynasty’ is about a girl name Rebekah harkness who use to live in this Rhode Island house aka holiday house which Taylor bought in 2013.

You were given just enough information to be dangerous!😂 Only Cardigan, August and Betty are connected but I loved how excited you were to build a story through all of these songs! I knew you'd love this album and I know you are going to love Evermore and The Tortured Poets Department just as much!

All the songs are just made up stories except for a couple. The 3 songs that are a trilogy are Cardigan, August, and Betty. All told from a different perspective by the made up characters in the songs. Just for info. The Last Great American Dynasty is about a real person, Rebekah Harkness  who owned the Holiday house before Taylor bought it. My Tears Ricochet is about her first record label and owner, Scott Borchetta, who screwed her over. This is me trying is about Addiction.

Your story now adds to the Lore. JUST like Taylor intended. Thank you for sharing with us!! ❤

The Rebekah-Bon Iver storyline was so fun. Rebekah Harkness is a real person who owned Taylor’s Rhode Island mansion before she did; she just thought Rebekah lived a cool life and wanted to tell her story. Rebekah died in 1982. But I genuinely enjoyed her getting dragged into Betty and James’ drama😅

There are some songs that are connected, most pointedly is the cardigan-august-betty high school love triangle, and some aren’t. It’s always a joy to see new ideas and theories from fresh eyes bc there’s so many fun ways to interpret things non-canonically.

Finding (making up?🤡) stories in Taylor’s songs is a Swiftie pastime so you’re in good company ❤ fun reaction!

I LOVE that you went into this album blind. I think people forget sometimes that there was a moment when every single one of us was listening to this album for the first time with zero context. Watching you really listen to the lyrics and try to put the pieces together shows how much you’re appreciating and engaging with the music, which is the point of music as art IMO.

I personally think you should go into every album with zero lore (YES even TTPD; I have seen WILD theories about that album) bc that’s how all of us technically did our first listen too. People tend to get very lost in dissecting who each song is about rather than listening to what the song is actually saying. As an OG 2006 Swiftie thank you for appreciating the music 🫶🏻

Folklore is an album you can just hit play and sit back and vibe

when you clocked in but you clocked wrong 😂😂😂😂 but that is what we love about tay’s songs like we have our own lil story interpreting all of these songssss. love your reactions!!

Your Taylor reactions are top tier. You seem like a super nice guy, good vibe. I think you’ll go far in this space.
