Brand new XIEGU X6200 portable amateur radio used it about 11 days. It worked great in FT8 mode. Made about 20 contacts over a week. Running 5 watts into a G5RV antenna.
One thing I noted, the radio gets really hot even just sitting turned on. What I think happened is the RF section overheated and one of the components, probably the RF transistor, became cold soldered. After cooling the radio down the first time I noticed that the RF power worked fine for about 30 minutes of intermittent use. Once it got hot, the RF output would fail. After the second day of this anomaly, the problem became a failure.
Working with Xiegu to get this problem fixed. I will update as soon as it gets resolved. I hope this is resolved before my planned trip to Peru in a month where I plan to do FT8 POTA contacts in the Andes at 12,000 feet elevation.
