Getting rid of existing overhead cables is a very costly exercise and the burden usually falls on the people that live underneath the existing infrastructure.
I can't imagine that the local business', who may or may not be doing all that well, given the oversupply of malls and shops, would be able to stand the cost.
A good tidyup and better ongoing management of the overhead cables might be a more acceptable alternative.
Thanks for your good work on this topic.

It’s amazing — no more cable spaghetti in the sky!
Next project: bury all the plastic chairs underground too.
Imagine the confusion among the Bogan Brigade! 😂

Hallo Krisna
Lovely to meet with you today at your beautiful warung
Maybe a video on latest in Sanur please? 😂
Peter

great to see the footpath being fixed but I agree, wouldn't widening it make the congested traffic even more congested?  Thanks again for the update Krisna. Miss Bali, need a visit soon

To save the beach they need to remove everything of it all the way back.  Every single intervention makes things worse.  It need to go back to the natural gradient. Thanks for the update.

What an improvement to the footpath. Just a question, do u have ur lip pierced?

Nice to see the finished footpath part, but the cables are still hanging there. So what will happen next? Do they break the new footpath open again to bury the cables? Wouldn't surprise me, to be honest. Coordination is a thing, Bali.

My suburb in Western Australia went all underground power, all residents/homeowners had to pay $8000 au contribution, in the end it was well worth it! An area with no overhead powerlines looks so much better! Bali needs to stop building shopping malls! Western visitors do not want shopping malls everywhere! The only 2 reasons people go in them is because women cant help themselves but aimlessly window shop! And the air conditioning.

Nice footpath but it’s also for motorcycles since they always riding footpaths 🤔🤔😱👎.. unfortunately the beach Mother Nature will do it again there’s nothing it can be done .. thanks Krisna hope nana she’s feeling better
