Money talks. Divorce is expensive.

@andypan79 1 year ago

The main argument for the comeback was Noel's divorce, that's the biggest detail you forgot.

My lord. The quality of BBC documentaries has really gone down. The main people in the documentary have very basic knowledge of the band, and some are just plain bullshitting. They could not get one key person from the Oasis camp? Even one from the past who worked with them? Or with Noel/ Liam? Or someone who simply does know that Noel played DLBIA every single concert of every tour?

Just goes to show that any sort of these interviews, where they speak to nobody's speculating on bs they think are the reasons etc, are complete garbage and pointless. Example: 12:45 this nobheads banging on about family and great songwriting. He does sing don't look back in anger? At EVERY one of his gigs? It's the same people that rant and have an opinion but couldn't tell you which brother is which 😅

I swear since Brexit, this must be the only positive thing that’s happening over there

No. I'm 37 and a lifelong Oasis fan, but the ticket fiasco last year proved to me that they don't believe in music as much as money. If they did, they would have taken steps to ensure the "dynamic pricing" bollocks was resolved and their fans could see them at a fair price. I was one of the lucky ones that had the opportunity to buy tickets, but at the renewed prices (£356/ticket), I declined - "If you don't get yours, I won't get mine as well"? Give me a break! How can they mean such words after their ticket prices? They fumbled it massively.

The thing is Liam sounds absolutely shit nowadays, best thing they could do is stay away

@cedricpeabody265 1 year ago

For so much fuss over the reunion of such a mediocre band shows that any kind of quality and soul in music, died a very long time ago.

@revol148 1 year ago

It will a crashing disappointment - the gigs will be poorly reviewed and they will (like the Stone Roses) disappear in 6 months time possibly ashamed of themselves that they only did this for the money.....
