I just wanted to brag that today I found the most amazing poncho in my local charity shop for £6 (UK) , I checked the label and it was made in 1973! The year I was born 😁 I literally did a little happy dance in the shop 🎉

My only complaint about your channel is you don't post enough. Seriously!! I can't get enough of this info. I am a 69 year old California lady. By the time I was 4 I was modeling clothes and a die hard clothes/fashion obsessed person. You have the most interesting content. Love the Agnes Morehead find!! You are the best!! I found a pair of 100% Made in USA Levi's 512 women's jeans that were made in 1999 at the thrift store this week. 27 year old jeans in EXCELLENT condition and only 18 bucks. A little bit of wear that told me these jeans were worn and loved. I snatched them up so fast and can't wait to wear them!

I resell vintage clothing and accessories for a living and most of my inventory comes from thrift stores and estate sales. I'm 65yo so I remember wearing some of the older brands, or my mother, aunts or grandmother did. Not only are these pieces so well made, but they are definitely unique additions to a current wardrobe. I especially like discovering smaller, less well-known brands because it's likely authentic.

I thrifted a navy 90’s Penman’s boiled 100% wool blazer sweater 2 years ago, it has the Woolmark tag on it and is made in Hong Kong. It’s a beauty that I’ll never sell, I couldn’t believe it when I saw it on the rack. My Donna Karan 100% linen sweater from the early 80’s is one of my favourite finds.

Oh, my goodness, you took me way back. When I was late high school and early college, Stuart’s was where I shopped. As for the comments the founder/owner made about women, that’s what we lived with back then and what many of us worked so hard to change. He wasn’t unusual or a villain. That’s how men thought in those days (and yes, even many women). Those of us wired for equality had our work cut out for us.

The Pendleton tag was such a fun flashback. Back in the early 90’s I was finding plenty of Pendleton clothing from the 50’s - late 70’s. Oh the reliability of that brand in fabric and workmanship. Always a sure fire sale for me on eBay back then. Fun times.
