I have one from 1998 I bought in 2015 I still have it I cleared out large lots for travel trailers loaned it to friends for the house and used it once a week for 11 years to cut my own grass I would always drain the fuel in the fall and a fresh air filter it's still the same spark plug since 2015

I have a Murray mower with a different engine that's probably around 15 years old and hasn't run for maybe 10 years. It has the same carb and tank setup that this mower does and thanks to your video I was able to get it running! I was super close to giving up on it but glad I could keep this old thing working and out of a landfill.

You helped me in two ways, one I have never worked on a carb with a diaphragm and did not know why fuel wasn't getting to the carb. Two I have a mower that vibrates real bad but did not know why.

I have the same mower , got mine free also . probably needs a new carb gaskets .the guy was sending it for scrap , glad he gave it to me .

one time i was working on one of these and didnt want to replace the slightly warped carb that caused an air leak; i placed two gaskets over the diaphragm and it sealed properly
